Terms of service — plain language, like everything else here
The honest fine print.
What CiteGraph is
CiteGraph measures how AI assistants answer buyers’ questions about your category: which products they name and which pages they cite. You give us a domain; we read that site, write the questions buyers ask, put them to AI engines through their official APIs, and report what came back — plus suggested plays to improve it. Numbers are sampled rates with printed margins. AI answers vary run to run; nothing here is a guarantee of future answers.
Accounts and plans
You need an account to run a scan. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, renew automatically, and can be cancelled at any time from Billing — cancellation stops the next renewal; we don’t refund the current month because every scan spends real API money the moment it runs. Plan limits (projects, scan cadence) are listed on the pricing page and enforced by our servers.
Your data, your dossier
Scan results for your project are private to your account unless you share the public report link. You can delete a project, or your account, and ask us to remove any published report — we take it down, we don’t argue about it. Reports only contain information derived from public web pages and engine responses.
Leaderboards
Category leaderboards are public and free. Positions are measured from engine answers and cannot be bought, boosted or edited — by anyone, including us. If you believe an entry is wrong (misattributed product, wrong domain), email us and we’ll check the raw answers.
Acceptable use
Don’t scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service, run it against sites you have no business reason to analyse, or use our outputs to deceive AI systems or people. Drafts we generate are suggestions; you are responsible for anything you publish, and for keeping it truthful.
Service, warranty, liability
The service is provided as-is with no warranty and no uptime promise. Engine behaviour changes without notice and so can our results. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app or by email before they apply. Continuing to use CiteGraph after that means you accept them.
