Can they reach it
robots.txt for Googlebot, Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, GPTBot and Google-Extended. Text present without JavaScript. A sitemap.
Can they understand it
Title, description, H1. A plain statement of what it is, who it is for, the price, the alternatives. Comparison pages, because “X vs Y” is what buyers ask.
Can they parse it
Organization, Product and FAQ schema, llms.txt, canonical and Open Graph tags. Each one arrives as a block you paste.
What it can’t tell you
Whether the engines actually name you. That depends on the pages they cite, mostly not yours. A scan asks your buyers’ questions across four engines and shows who gets named instead. The first one is free.

What does the AI readiness check look at?
Fifteen things the site itself controls: whether robots.txt lets in the eight crawlers that feed ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity; whether the page has text without JavaScript; the sitemap; title, description and H1; whether the homepage says in plain words what the product is, for whom, at what price and against which alternatives; comparison pages; Organization, Product and FAQ schema; llms.txt; canonical and Open Graph tags. Each failing check comes with the fix to paste.
Is a high score the same as being recommended by AI?
No. The score says whether an engine can reach, read and quote your site. Whether it actually names you when a buyer asks depends mostly on third-party pages: the listicles, Reddit threads and directories the engines cite. That is what a CiteGraph scan measures, and the first one is free after signup.
Does llms.txt matter?
There is no public evidence yet that the major engines read it, so it carries three points out of a hundred here. It takes two minutes and costs nothing, so it is in the list, but it is not the fix that moves anything.
Why does my JavaScript app score so low?
Several crawlers never execute scripts. If the words on your page only appear after JavaScript runs, those engines see an empty page: no H1, no paragraph, nothing to quote. Server-rendering or prerendering the homepage fixes it, and it is usually the single biggest jump in the score.
Is it really free, with no account?
Yes. The check runs against your site directly and costs us nothing to run, so there is no account and no card. Results are cached for a week, so the shareable link opens instantly. What the free check cannot do is write the missing paragraph for you or track the score over time; that lives in the app.
