Plays are chosen across the whole scan, not templated per source: if one roundup answers four of your lost questions, pitching it is one play, not four.
The artifact is drafted
The paragraph for your page, the row for your comparison table, the outreach email to the cited page's author — drafted from the scan's evidence, in your product's voice, for you to edit.
You ship it, we re-measure
Publish the fix, and the next weekly scan tells you whether the answer moved — beyond the margin of error, or not.

Every play cites its basis
No play says "improve your content." Each one names the question it targets, the page currently winning it, and the scan numbers that justify the effort — so you can disagree with the reasoning, not just the instruction.
Mechanisms, not magic
Plays come typed: pitch a cited page, publish on your own site, answer a community thread, fix a review-platform profile, outflank a listicle. The mechanism tells you the effort and the timescale before you start.
Outreach you send yourself
When the play is a pitch, we draft the email and you send it from your own address. We don't post as you, buy placements, or broker links — earned citations are the only kind that survive.
What we won't do: post comments for you, sell backlinks, or pay for placement. The FTC puts disclosure duty for paid endorsements on the brand — you — and bought presence is exactly what a measured leaderboard would expose anyway.

What exactly is a play?+
One concrete move derived from your scan: a target (a question or cited page), a mechanism (pitch, publish, community, reviews, outflank), the reasoning with numbers, and a drafted artifact you can edit and use.
Does CiteGraph execute plays automatically?+
No, deliberately. Drafts are ours; publishing and sending are yours, from your own site and address. That keeps every placement earned and every disclosure decision in your hands.
How many plays come with a scan?+
Starter includes 20 drafted artifacts per month, Growth 60, Scale 200. Plays themselves — the strategy layer — come with every scan.
How do I know a play worked?+
The next scan re-asks the same questions the same way. If your mention rate on the targeted question moves beyond the printed margin, it worked; if not, the play gets revised, not re-celebrated.
